Kalapani, a territory between Nepal and India for many decades, once again made into the newspaper headlines after India released its new political map claiming the land as their territory on Oct 31, 2019. Nepal claims that the river to the west of Kalapani is the main Kali whereas India claims ridgeline to the east of Kalapani as the border.
