House panel directs govt to form committee to adjust civil servants in federal set-up

KATHMANDU, March 31: The State Affairs Committee of the Parliament directed the government to form a high-level committee to submit a report with recommendations to the government for adjustment of the civil servants under the federal set-up.

KATHMANDU, March 31: The State Affairs Committee of the Parliament directed the government to form a high-level committee to submit a report with recommendations to the government for adjustment of the civil servants under the federal set-up.


The committee's meeting on Friday took a decision to direct the government to form a powerful committee incorporating experts for the management of human resources at the federal, provincial and local levels.

The committee had invited Minister for General Administration Keshav Kumar Budhathoki and Secretary at the Ministry to discuss about the adjustment of civil servants in the federal structures.


Briefing to the House panel, Minister Budhathoki informed that the ministry has been presented a bill concerned with the adjustment of the civil servants in the federal set up at the Council of the Ministers for the approval.
