KATHMANDU, April 25: The National Committee of the Nepal Teachers' Association (NTA) has returned without holding discussions with the government.
Chairperson of the Committee, Laxmi Kishor Subedi, provided this information. Earlier, it was reported that a group of 25 teachers had gone to the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology for talks following an invitation by Education Minister Raghuji Pant.

Clarifying the matter, Subedi stated, “We would like to inform you that the list of 25 members released by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology was not prepared by the NTA.”
He further added, “We were on our way for a formal meeting with the newly appointed minister today. However, due to special reasons, we returned without entering the Ministry.”
