KATHMANDU, June 12: The House of Representatives (HoR) plans to pass the budget for the next fiscal year 2024/25 on June 21.
The Federal Parliament Secretariat's fortnightly parliamentary calendar says that the Appropriation Bill will be presented to the House for a decision on June 21.

Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun proposed a budget of Rs 1.8603 trillion on May 28. General discussions on the budget have concluded, and discussions on the ministerial budget start today.
Today’s agenda includes discussions on the budgets for the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, and Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development. These discussions will continue until June 21, when the budget is expected to be passed.
