KATHMANDU, June 25: The House of Representatives (HoR) has passed the Appropriation Bill, 2081 (Budget) by a majority of votes.
On Tuesday, Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun presented a proposal to pass the Appropriation Bill, 2081, in the HoR meeting.

The proposal was approved by a majority of parliamentarians. With the support of the majority of MPs, the Speaker announced that the Appropriation Bill, 2081, was passed by the HoR.
The Appropriation Bill passed by the HoR will now be forwarded to the National Assembly. Once the bill is approved by the upper house, it will come into force after certification by the President, allowing the government to spend the money allocated in the country’s annual budget.
