KATHMANDU, May 14: The hearing on cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane’s appeal against the Kathmandu District Court’s ruling in a rape case at the Patan High Court has been scheduled to continue on Wednesday.
Judges Sudarshan Dev Bhatta and Anju Upetri Dhakal presided over the hearing on Tuesday, with the proceedings set to resume on Wednesday.

In the initial verdict, the Kathmandu District Court sentenced Sandeep to eight years of imprisonment for the alleged rape of ‘Gaushala 26’.
Subsequently, Sandeep lodged an appeal with the Patan High Court, where the case has faced postponement five times.
