GCCI urges businessmen and locals to avoid vehicular movement in district

KATHMANDU, May 26: The Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has urged the business community and locals to avoid vehicular movement in the district effective from the midnight of May 27 to June 2 midnight.

KATHMANDU, May 26: The Gulmi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) has urged the business community and locals to avoid vehicular movement in the district effective from the midnight of May 27 to June 2 midnight.


Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the business chamber urged one and all to help the government of Nepal in curbing the spread of COVID-19. “Let’s stop vehicular movement in the district except emergency vehicles such as ambulances,” the statement reads.

Earlier, Gulmi reported the third COVID-19 death in Nepal. Besides one death, Gulmi now has three active cases of COVID-19. Thousands of India-returnees have been kept at quarantine facilities across the district.
