POKHARA, June 13: The new Gandaki Province Cabinet has decided to formulate an Act to ‘honor’ the former chief minister/s of the province.
A meeting of the newly-formed Cabinet led by Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokharel, on Sunday, decided to introduce a separate law to formally provide services and benefits to the former chief minister(s) of the province.

“We are yet to decide on what sort of honor will be feted to the outgoing chief minister/s,” said Kumar Khadka, a minister without portfolio and the spokesperson of the provincial government. He added that the province government will endorse an Act so as not to compromise to honor the former chief ministers, and at the same time, keeping in view the means and resources in the province.
The meeting also named Khadka the spokesperson for the government.
