KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The investigation into the murder of four persons that took place on the night of 17th September at Gairigaon in Tinkune, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-32, has been completed.
After the investigation, the police submitted a report with opinion to the District Government Attorney's Office. In the case, which was said to be a murder due to personal revenge, the police submitted an investigation report after testing various technologies.
“The police have arrested Sanjay Bhandari on the charges of murder. As he has a different ability (can't speak), the police took his statement through an interpreter," said SP Kumud Dhungel, spokesperson for the District Police Range, Kathmandu. He said that during the statement, Sanjay also admitted to have killed other people. SP Dhungel said that the police conducted a 'brain mapping' (mental state test) during the investigation.

Achyut Mani Neupane, Chief of the District Government Attorney’s Office, said that the report has arrived and the office is studying it. He said that the prosecution will be registered after the study. "The police have submitted a report to him with the opinion that he should be sentenced to life imprisonment," he said.
Senior Superintendent of Police Somendra Singh Rathore said that the accused had killed a person with the motive of revenge and after others eye witnessed the incident, he also killed three others from the same family to prevent the incident from surfacing out. An investigation committee was formed under the leadership of Rathore.
The incident took place on September 17 at 11:55 PM. Purna Bahadur Bhujel alias Kumar, his wife Ambika Bhujel, Kumar's mother Shubhadra Bhujel and Bishal Rai alias Nabin whose permanent home in Belwari, Morang were killed at the Divya S:mill in Gairigaon near Tinkune, Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
