KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Police have released Dipendra Rai, who was previously detained in connection with the quadruple murder case in Gairigaun, Tinkune, Kathmandu.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Somendra Singh Rathore of the Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office said that Rai was released after it was revealed that he had no involvement in the murder.

The police announced that they had arrested Sanjay Bhandari, 23, who hails from Bahrabise, Sindhupalchowk, and now lives in Kadaghari, Kathmandu, on Sunday.
Kumar Bhujel, his wife Ambika Bhujel and mother Sumitra Bhujel,70 along with Nabinn Rai,19, of Morang, who was in charge of the security guard, were killed in the Divya Saw mill in Gairigaun on Friday midnight. The police said they had arrested Bhandari on the charge of the four murders.
