Information Officer Deputy Superintendent of Police Bed Bahadur Paudel at the District Police Office in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Sustapur) reported that the highway became impassable due to the flooded under-construction road. Efforts are currently underway to remove a truck that is stuck on the blocked road.

In a related incident, eight passengers sustained minor injuries when a bus (Lu 1 Kha 8513) traveling from west to east braked suddenly on the damaged road. Deputy Superintendent Paudel explained that the bus stopped abruptly, causing a collision with another bus, leading to the injuries.

Despite the flooding, authorities are working to open the road for one-way traffic.
