KALIKOT, Oct 11: It is going to take a few more days before traffic can be resumed on the Karnali highway which remains disrupted due to incessant rains. Vehicular movement on the highway is disrupted following landslides at over three dozen places in the Kalikot section of the highway.
It is said it will take some more days to remove the landslide debris and open the highway for traffic. Vehicles on long and short routes are not able to operate on the highway due to landslides.
Vegetable market blamed for highway traffic congestion
Chief District Officer (CDO) Ramhari Sharma said it will take some more days to open the Kalikot section of the highway.
CDO Sharma said that 19 persons are missing in floods and landslide following incessant rains in the district so far this year.
