First South Asian Bodybuilding Completion in Kathmandu from Nov 23

KATHMANDU, Nov 20: The first edition of South Asian Bodybuilding Competition is going to kick off from November 23 this year. 


Organizing a press meet here today, organizers - Nepal Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness (NFBF)- shared that a total of 100 participants-both male and female from South Asian countries, namely Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Afghanistan will vie in the competition.

The three-day competition would be held under the categories such as male bodybuilding, male physiques, women fitness, and women physiques, shared NFBF President Shiva Lamichhane BK. 


Male bodybuilding contest would be held under the different weight categories, such as 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg, 85 and over, while women contestants will compete under any specific eight groups, informed BK.


NFBF is the continental member of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness which has been organizing 'Mister Olympia', world famous bodybuilding contest.
