KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Helping Cap and Nepalese Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness in partnership with Lalitpur District Bodybuilding and Fitness Association are set to host the first ever Nepal Classic Open Bodybuilding Championship on August 30 and 31 in Kathmandu.
The organizers announced in a press meet on Wednesday that the events of the first day will be held in Kathmandu whereas Lalitpur will host the decisive event on the final day.
Dharma Shree bodybuilding tournament in September
A total of 150 players from all the seven provinces will participate in the tournament. The winner of the event will receive Rs 500,000 along with a gold medal whereas the first and second runner-up will get Rs 250,000 and 200,000 respectively. Similarly, top 10 winners will receive different cash prizes according to the president of the organizing team Rajendra Maharjan.
The International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness is set to support the event. Nepali citizens, as well as the non-resident Nepalis, are allowed to participate in the event which is also taken as a promotional event of Visit Nepal Year 2020.
The organizing team is excited to build on the 2019 edition of the event and host a grandeur event next year.
