During the demonstration, President of Nepal Engineers Association, Bagmati Pradesh Nandalal Banjade said that the treatment meted out to the head of the office was violent. He said that the incident should be taken seriously and action should be taken against those involved in criminal activities. He called on how Janmat Party cadres went live on social media for 29 minutes insulting employees around the city like the Taliban in Afghanistan. He said that he felt as if there was no government in the country and demanded that all the culprits should be arrested and take action against them within three days.
