KATHMANDU, Sept 13: Daayitwa, a non-profit organization organized training on economic governance and leadership development for Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and Senior Officials of 11 municipalities across five provinces. The one-day virtual training program was a part of the Daayitwa Nepal Public Administration Fellowship 2021.
The program was divided into four different parts where former Secretary of Government of Nepal Krishna Gyawali, Food Security Expert at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development Dr.Yamuna Ghale and Executive Coach of Nepal Leadership Academy and Founder and Chairperson of Daayitwa Dr. Pukar Mall took sessions on various topics.
According to the statement issued by the Daayitwa , the program is expected to strengthen the policy leadership capacity of the local governments in addressing issues related to the public interest in different stages of policymaking at the subnational level.
