KATHMANDU, Sept 15: The first central committee meeting of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is going to take place on September 21.
The central meeting of the newly-formed party led by Madhav Kumar Nepal will convene to expand the party’s organization and formulate necessary strategy for the party to act on the contemporary political situation, the party said.

The meeting slated to take place today has been rescheduled for September 21 citing lack of necessary homework, according to the CPN (Unified Socialist).
It’s going to be the maiden meeting of the central committee of the party that was formed after the split from CPN (UML) due to its differing ideological viewpoints.
Standing Committee, secretariat, province in-charges and some departments have been formed for the party while preparations were afoot to form sister organizations. The youngest feftist party in the country has also formed student wings and an announcement of its press wing is expected soon.
