NC Central Committee meeting begins

KATHMANDU, July 11: The central committee meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has started at the party's central office in Sanepa. This is the first meeting of the NC Central Committee after the local level elections.

The meeting is scheduled to review the local level election and formulate a strategy for the upcoming provincial and House of Representatives elections.

NC leader Dr Shekhar Koirala faction even staged a demonstration at the party office before the meeting started. Dr Koirala is preparing to raise the issue of the working style of party president Sher Bahadur Deuba in the central committee meeting.
