Chand-led NCP’s central committee meeting begins in Bandipur

DAMAULI, Sept 17: The central committee meeting of the Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) began today in the tourist city of Bandipur in Tanahun district. The party’s 11th central committee’s meeting would convene in a hotel here. 

To attend the party meeting, NCP’s General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand and other leaders arrived here on Thursday.

The party’s district committee secretary ‘Atom’ said that the meeting would continue until September 21.

The party is scheduled to hold a news conference in Bandipur after the central committee meeting. Until then, no leader is allowed to talk to the press.    

This is the first CC meeting of the Chand-led CPN after the party joined open politics.
