KATHMANDU, Oct 17: The Climate Conclave 2024, organized by Nepal Republic Media (NRM), has officially commenced in the capital today.
The Climate Conclave 2024, which is organized with the theme – The Call of Mount Everest for Global Climate Action--, will dwell on various issues related to climate change and its impacts in Nepal.

The chief guest of the conclave is Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, Minister for Foreign Affairs, while the special guest is Ain Bahadur Shahi Thakuri, Minister for Forests and Environment.
Similarly, the speakers in the conclave include UK Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, New York Times International President Stephen Dunbar Johnson and Global Engagement Director at the Fossil Fuel, Harjeet Singh.
Sambridhi Gyawali, the chief executive officer of the NRM, will moderate the program.
