According to a statement issued by Carlsberg on Wednesday, Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert, defensive midfielder Lucas Leiva, attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho and winger Lazar Markovic have stamped their signatures on the Barclays Premier League ball, which will be shared with football fans of Nepal by Gorkha Brewery.
“It is truly a unique opportunity for Carlsberg to be able to unveil Barclays Premier League official football signed by Liverpool FC players. Our relationship with Liverpool FC started in 1992. It was Carlsberg’s very first connection to English football -- an affiliation which has grown significantly,” Philip Norley, Managing Director of Gorkha Brewery, was quoted as saying in the statement
Furthermore, Carlsberg is raising the bar to provide a first-of-its-kind experience for its valued consumers by sending the autograph of the consumers to the top of Mount Everest along with the signed ball, it said.

Ashish Bista, Marketing Director of Gorkha Brewery, shared his excitement: “We are embarking on a great journey to take your autograph with BPL Ball signed by Liverpool FC players to a greater height, ie, literally to the top of the world, Mount Everest.”
Over the next six weeks, the ball will be taken around Kathmandu and displayed at selected outlets.
Carlsberg consumers can be part of this campaign by providing their autographs in any of the 2,000 outlets across Nepal.
Carlsberg is seeking to fulfill dreams of Nepali football fans to get up-close and personal with the signed ball, and later give an autograph to be imprinted on a Carlsberg flag, which will make its final journey to Mount Everest in May.
