The Society called for the authority concerned to endorse and bring the Act into force without any delay.

Lawmaker Hari Lal Gyawali made it clear that the enactment has been delayed for the need of discussion with stakeholders including Cooperative Ministry and cooperative experts on the proposed Act.

Another lawmaker Om Devi Malla stressed the need to introduce the Act to make cooperative acceptable to all rather than limiting its space.

Cooperative activist Minraj Kandel said that the new Act should promote the cooperative campaign.
