GORKHA, Aug 16: Dozens of landslides occurred of late have obstructed the Barpak road of Gorkha for the past one-and-a-half months.
With the disruption of road, passengers are compelled to walk through long distance to reach their destinations.
The Barpak locals have voiced their complaint over dillydally in the post-earthquake reconstruction works which they said have created several troubles in their day-to-day life.

The obstruction of road has also troubled them to bring hardware materials for the construction of their earthquake-devastated houses.
The landslides have caused disruption of roads from Baluwa to Gumda via Barpak and Laprak. "The roads are covered with landslide debris", said Rajendra Gurung, an employee of the Road Project Office.
Project Office Chief Prem Prakash Khatry said that the preparation is underway to clear the deck and open the vehicular movement.
Vehicular movement has been disrupted in 32 rural roads across the district including Barpak for the past one and a half months. RSS
