KATHMANDU, Sept 5: Tribhuvan University has implemented electronic administration (automated system) in the offices of all its agencies to make the service system fast, efficient and effective.
Now the registration, invoices, comments, correspondence, circulars and documents submitted to higher bodies for decisions in all offices in the University will be processed through an automatic system. The system was implemented in the University Central Office from 17th July. So far 529 user IDs are in operation.
Fully-automated online trading system from mid-November
The university’s Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Dharmakant Baskota formally launched the automated system at the Registrar's Office in Kirtipur. On that occasion, he mentioned that his important goal of upgrading the University as a paperless administration has been fulfilled and expressed his hope that the office automation system will be successful to make the service system more orderly, strong and efficient as technology has become a mandatory life system of the office.
Vice-Chancellor Baskota instructed the officials concerned to promote the use of modern technology and provide high-speed internet facilities to satisfy the customers through fast service.
