RASUWA, Feb 23: The work of testing load flow from the Nepali side has been completed. The test is a necessary step toward the import and export of electricity from China after the construction of the inter-country transmission line, according to Nepal Electricity Authority.
RASUWA, Feb 9: Nepal and China are likely to exchange 2,000-megawatt electricity within 2030. According to the Ratomate-Rauwagadhi-Kerung 400 KV Transmission Line Project, in the upcoming 10 years, 2,000-megawatt electricity can be imported and exported as per the initial report of load flow.

During a joint technical meeting between Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) and State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) on Saturday, the Chinese government has signed an agreement to purchase electricity from Nepal after the construction of Nepal-China cross-border transmission line. The SGCC is the state-owned electric utility monopoly of China.

RASUWA, Nov 16: The work of upgrading the road connecting to Rasuwagadhi check point in the northern border has been pushed back by four months. The delay is caused by inability to shift electric poles that stand on the way of the road.
