DHANGADI, Dec 19: A shocking picture of COVID19 related deaths has come to the fore in Sudur Paschim Province. Just in the Nepali month of Mangsir (mid Nov to mid Dec), 23 people lost their lives to COVID19 related complications. It is the maximum number of deaths within a month in the province which has seen a total of 70 COVID-19 related deaths so far.

DHANGADHI, March 29: The novel coronavirus infected man from Dhangadi who is undergoing treatment at Seti Regional Hospital has been found to have met dozens of people after coming to Nepal from Dubai. Talking to Republica, he said that a friend from Biratnagar was in the same Delhi – Kathmandu flight on 20 March. "At that time, we were a total of 19 people from Nepal from Dubai to Delhi, and then I was with a friend from Biratnagar for the flight to Kathmandu from Delhi," he said.

When the incident took place two weeks ago, the baby, Mamata Bhandari, was also hurt. After treatment, she has now recovered.

DHANGADHI, Nov 29: On November 22, Ram Bahadur Rokaya and Ram Bahadur Thagunna were walking on the road at Krishnanagar Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur district. A speeding vehicle hit them and Rokaya died of injuries at the Seti Provincial Hospital. Police have yet to nab the vehicle and the driver.
