SARLAHI, July 5: Eight police personnel were injured as they clashed with landless squatters in the district on Tuesday.
According to police, the clash was ensued after locals pelted stones as police tried to demolish huts constructed illegally encroaching the land of Sagarnath Forest Development Project.

ASI Binay Kumar Pandey has been sent to the Hariban-based Namuna Hospital for treatment. One Police Head Constable and 6 Police Constables have received minor injuries.
Police said they have arrested 29 persons for their alleged involvement in pelting stones at police.
