Prez Yadav to arrive in Butwal

BUTWAL, July 21: President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav is scheduled to visit  Butwal on Saturday.



The president is scheduled to inaugurate the Korea – Nepal Institute of Technology (college) established in Butwal -14 with the cooperation of the Government of Republic of Korea.[break]



The president will come to Butwal after landing at the Gautam Buddha Airport in Bhairahawa by a Buddha air flight at 9:00 am today, said Chief District Officer of Rupandehi, Hari Krishna Paudel.



Security has been made stringent for the arrival of the president, he informed.



KOICA Chairman and other high level officials will also come at the inaugural programme. The college building and other infrastructures have been constructed in nine bighas and 13 katthas of land at Tamnagar at a cost of Rs. 550 million of the Government of Korea through KOICA.



The college has started three-year technical course from this academic year and 90 students will be admitted in three technical subjects this year, said Officiating Chief of the College, Aravind Chaudhary.
