175,000 visit 11-day festival in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur

BHAKTAPUR, April 20: A total of 175,000 people visited the 9th Bhaktapur Industrial Cultural, Tourism, Agriculture and Trade Festival 2024/25 organized at Sallaghari Ground in Bhaktapur on the occasion of New Year and Bisket Jatra (festival). 


More than 175,000 people attended the 11-day festival, which began on March 31 with the slogan of 'New Year, New Thinking is a Source of Progress for the Youths', said Sandeep Mahat, President of the organization.

According to him, daily necessities including food items, utensils and various types of clothes, shoes and agricultural and handicraft items used in daily life have been put on display and sale in the festival.
