BHAKTAPUR, July 3: A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a mini-van near Nikosera Sallaghari of Bhaktapur municipality-17.

The deceased has been identified as Suman Chaulagain, 18, a resident of Sindhupalchowk and currently living in Kamalbinayak of the municipality. The incident took place this morning when the mini-van (Ba.13 Cha.6640) carrying poultry to Kathmandu hit him. Chaulagain died in course of treatment at Madhyapur hospital.
The mini-van driver Bishal Pradhan, 24, of Thathali in Nagarkot has been arrested along with the van, DSP at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Bhaktapur Shekhar Khanal said. RSS
