Earlier, the Madhes-based parties were opposing the modality of the vacancy announcement made by the PSC calling it non-inclusive.
The Madhes-based parties argue that the vacancy announcement failed to acknowledge the principle of inclusiveness and proportional representation as enshrined in the Constitution.
While the Federal Government has defended the vacancy announcement saying it was called to address the manpower crunch in the provincial and local governments in the absence of provincial PSCs.
