KATHMANDU, Dec 8: The Parliamentary Hearing Special Committee (PHSC) on Monday deferred the hearing of Anup Raj Sharma, the proposed chief justice, for Thursday morning.

According to the committee, altogether three complaints have been lodged against Sharma. He will defend the complaints during the parliamentary hearing scheduled for 10 am Thursday.

Sharma was recommended for the post of Chief Justice by the Constitutional Council last week. He will assume the top judicial post after the incumbent Chief Justice Min Bahadur Rayamajhi retires on December 12.
