KATHMANDU, Sept 24: A pre-scheduled hearing on a writ petition filed by former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam was deferred on Friday. The hearing was to be conducted by the bench of justices Anil Kumar Sinha and Kumar Chudal today. But later, it was said that the hearing could not be held today as well.
Alam had filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court, requesting for his bail. He was sentenced to prison by the District court and High Court for his involvement in the 2008 Rautahat massacre.

Despite the continuous scheduling of hearing on the writ petition, the hearing has been deferred time and again.
