Various equipment launched at Nepa Construction Expo

KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Exhibitors on the third day of Nepa Construction Expo 2011 have unveiled six different products of various international brands. Besides, local companies also unveiled new equipment during a press conference organized at the Expo.



Germany based Schell brand launched its product in the Nepali market. Operation head of sales in India, Gautam Gosh said, “We are introducing the products of Schell for the first time in Nepal.” [break]



The company has launched sanitary wares, office system, air compressor, elevator, swimming pool construction materials among others. The company also announced the sales from the expo.

Sancheti Tradelink has brought the equipments of Schell in Nepal. “Our solutions are environment friendly, water efficient, long lasting and hygienic,” he said. The company has started sales of urinal flush system, angle valve, appliance valve, gas ball valves, draw-off taps, auxiliary connection valves and others.



Likewise, Hittco Private Limited introduced LGI brand air compressor in the market. The equipment helps in dusting road during construction. “ The machine, which operates on diesel, is expected to gain popularity in the Nepali market,”chief technical officer of the company Jayaram Maharjan said.

Force Construction has launched office system and construction materials of Techmark brand.



Similarly, Ooddiy Enterprises introduced elevator of new technolog and swimming pool construction materials at the event.The company has brought equipments of Domus Line brand. Bipin Kumar Pokharel said, “ These machines are hydraulic and self-automated.” He said the company was also brining elevators for individual homes as well.



Echord International is showcasing GPS (Global Positioning System) for vehciles at the event. According to the company the the equipment was prices at Rs 10,000. The company is also showcasing Taiwanese hand-dryer.



The five-day long expo which started from Friday targets to cater the needs of ordinary people, contractors and urban development planners with the target to attract 35,000 visitors.
