TIKAPUR, Sept 15: Two people were killed and six injured in a road accident at Balchaur of Lamkichuha Municipality in Kailali on Friday afternoon. According to the Area Police Office, Lamki, the accident occurred when a bus heading for Lamki from Chisapani hit a bicycle coming from the opposite direction instantly killing the rider Anil Badi, 12, and pillion rider Patrup Tamang, 25. The bus belonging to Karnali River Yatayat is said to have hit the bicycle as the latter tried to cross the road.

The deceased Badi was from Balchaur while Tamang was a resident of Dhangadhi Sub Metropolis. According to police inspector Surendra Joshi, the two had breathed their last as soon as they were taken to the Nepalgunj Medical College of Kohalpur.
