KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): The government of Switzerland has agreed to provide a grant of NRs 3 billion to the government of Nepal to implement programs related to agriculture and skills development programs in Nepal. According to a press statement issued by the Embassy of Switzerland, the grant will be spent on implementing the Nepal Agriculture Services Development Program, the Nepal Agriculture Market Development Program and to better skilled workforce through Enhanced Skills for Sustainable and Rewarding Employment project. The agreement was signed between Swiss Ambassador to Nepal Dr Urs Herren and secretary of Ministry of Finance Lok Darshan Regmi on Wednesday.
