RASUWA, Feb 16: Nepali migrants associated with different professions in Canada have distributed warm clothes to earthquake victims of Rasuwa Bhorle-9.

The Calgary Nepalese Community Association (CNCA) distributed  blankets and shawls to 40 Bishwakarma families of Bhorle VDC-9 in coordination with the Kathmandu-based EVINS Nepal, Chairman of the organization Arun Paudel, told Republica.

The alms were doled out to the earthquake-hit people in the districts including Sindhupalchowk and Rasuwa as part of its relief distribution programs of the association, said Chairman of the CNCA Prasanna Man Shrestha.

A mega earthquake that struck on April 25 had badly damaged the houses of Dalit families.

Meanwhile, local Bharat Bahadur Biswokarma thanked the Canadian Nepali migrants for providing warm clothes to the quake-affected people in the winter season.
