KATHMANDU, Sept 9: President Ramchandra Paudel has accepted the resignation of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
Oli resigned following the Gen Z protests, which escalated out of control and resulted in the deaths of 20 protesters.

President Paudel is now preparing to move forward with the process of forming a new government in accordance with Nepal’s Constitution. “The President is consulting with relevant parties to advance the government formation process as per the Constitution,” a presidential advisor stated.
