TAHANUN, Jan 29: One person has died and another injured in a road accident that took place this morning along the Prithvi Highway in Gunadi of Myagdi Rural Municipality-1. The pillion rider died in the accident involving a scooter, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Sumitra Thapa, 27, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16. The scooter rider, Puran Magar, 27, of Myagdi Rural Municipality-3, was injured in the accident. Magar is undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Damauli, Deputy Superintendent of Police Shravan Kumar BK said.
