Police to run LP gas plant soon

KATHMANDU, July 25: Nepal Police is planning to set up a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Plant in the near future



Speaking at a press meet organized at the Police Headquarters, on Wednesday, Spokesperson of Nepal Police, Binod Singh said probable location is being explored in Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Dhading and Nuwakot for the cooking gas plant.[break]



Nepal Police runs two petrol pumps at Pathalaiya of Bara and Naxal in the capital with the objective of providing efficient services to the general public by utilizing the Police Welfare Fund.



Meanwhile, Nepal Police has made a provision for its service recipients to acquire the character certificate form online. Nepal Police distributed character certificates to 185,610 persons during the fiscal year 2011/12, according to spokesperson Singh.
