Nepali youth kills self in Japan

TOKYO, Feb 21: A Nepali student has committed suicide here in Okinaba Konahashi, a southern city on Friday night.
Kamal Khanal, 21, of Rupandehi, Butwal killed self by hanging on a tree.



Khanal had arrived Japan some five months ago. He was studying Japanese language at Okinawa JCS Academy. He was also working at private agriculture farm as part time worker.

A suicide note has also been recovered from his pocket which was written to his elder brother Keshav.


In the suicide note, Khanal requested his elder brother to look after his family.


This is a second incident of suicide by Nepali in month in Japan. Earlier, a Nepali national Omkar Kandel had committed suicide by jumping off a running rail.
