Nepal meets Pakistan in play-off Tuesday

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepal will face Pakistan on Tuesday in the fifth place play-off during the ICC U-19 World Cup at Fatullah in Bangladesh. Nepal's meeting with the South Asian nation was confirmed as Pakistan faced five-wicket defeat against West Indies in the Super League on Monday.

Nepal is vying for the fifth place after being defeated by six wickets by host Bangladesh in the quarterfinal. Similarly, Test-playing nation England and Associate nation Namibia will play another fifth place play-off on Wednesday.

Nepal had once again failed to reach the semifinal of the competition on Friday after losing to Bangladesh.
