KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae said that his country has been extending support to ongoing efforts among government, opposition parties and agitating parties to find a consensus.

Receiving a memorandum from Reporters' Club on Wednesday, Rae stressed on political solution on the present political imbroglio. "The present political crisis is a political issue. So the parties should address it through talks," he added, "We laud the efforts among the parties for consensus."
The Indian ambassador also said that the ongoing protests will have adverse affect on adjoining India. "The protests will also affect our country," he added, "We want the crisis to ends soon."Rae said that his country is after a double digit economic growth. "The unrest in Nepal will also affect the economic growth in our country," he further said, "We will also have adverse effect if this unrest prolongs. So, we want this to end soon."
