Five Nepali youth joining Sixth Asian Science Camp

KATHMANDU, June 27: Five young Nepali scientists will be joining the Sixth Asian Science Camp, being held at Jerusalem, Israel from August 26 to 31.



Khagendra Acharya of Xavier International College will be leading the team with his colleagues Sagar Bhandari of the same college, Prakash Bajgain of Nobel Academy, Raju Sharma Khatauda of Tri- Chandra College and Prasanna Gyawali of Pulchowk Engineering College who were selected by Chaitanya Sharma, Nepali representative of Asian Science Campus and his team.[break]



The press release stated that the team will be lead by Gopal Bhandari, principal of Xavier International.



The Asian Science Camp aims at enlightening scientifically talented youth through discussion and dialogue with top scholars from around the world, and promoting international friendship and cooperation among the best young students of the next generation in Asia, Australia and Oceania.



The Asian Science Camp will also be inviting 10 Nobel Laureates and world class scientists as speakers on diverse topics of invention in today’s world and its challenges.



The program will include plenary sessions, round table discussions, student master dialogues, creative poster competition, social events and excursions.
