BHOTECHAUR (Sindhupalchwok), June 7: A driver of a tipper died on the spot when the tipper he was driving met with a road accident in Lapsifedi near the Sindupalchowk-Kathmandu border on Sunday morning.

The tipper, Ba. 3 Kha. 7792, loaded with construction materials were heading towards the capital from Melamchi when it fell some 150 meters the road. The tipper driver Chandra Bahadur Majhi of Bansbari-2 in Sindhupalchowk died on the spot, according to assistant sub-inspector at the Police Post in Bhotechaur, Pradip Giri.
The driver's assistant was rescued alive and rushed to Kathmandu for treatment, police said. RSS
