55 arrested in Kathmandu for unruly behavior during Holi celebrations

According to SP and spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora of Kathmandu Police Range, the arrests were made from various locations across the city. Among those detained, 52 are men and three are women.

KATHMANDU, March 13: Kathmandu police have detained 55 individuals for allegedly engaging in unruly activities during Holi celebrations. 


According to SP and spokesperson Apil Raj Bohora of Kathmandu Police Range, the arrests were made from various locations across the city. Among those detained, 52 are men and three are women.

Police stated that further action, including whether to file charges or release them, will be decided based on their conduct. 


Additionally, authorities have impounded 270 vehicles for violating traffic regulations during the festival.
