KATHMANDU , March 13: Nepal has begun its run chase after Uganda set a 92-run target in the ongoing quadrangular series.
Opting to bat first after winning the toss, hosts Uganda managed 91 runs for the loss of five wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Rita Musamali top-scored with 38 runs, while Esther Iloku added 22. Despite Nepal dismissing both openers for ducks, Uganda recovered with Stephanie Nampiina contributing an unbeaten 13.

For Nepal, Riya Sharma took two wickets, while Puja Mahato, Rubina Chhetri, and Ishwari Bista claimed one each.
Having won only one of its four matches so far, Nepal must secure victory in this game to stay in contention for the final.
