KATHMANDU, Sept 14: The Judicial Council (JC) on Wednesday recommended the names of three justices for the Supreme Court (SC).
JC spokesperson Nirmala Poudel said Chief Judge of Tulsipur High Court Bam Kumar Shrestha, chief judge of Surkhet High Court Dambar Shahi and chief judge of Patan High Court Tanka Bahadur Moktan have been recommended for the SC justices.

Likewise, the JC meeting also transferred 197 district-level judges.
Similarly, 77 judges have been made the Chief Election Officers of 77 districts (including Eastern Rukum and Eastern Nawalparasi) for the upcoming elections while 10 judges have been kept in the reserve pool.
