1,365 Nepalis among 1.4 million immigrants US plans to deport

Trump has launched the largest mass deportation campaign of immigrants living in the US illegally. Trump signed an executive order in this regard immediately after taking office.

KATHMANDU, Jan 29: After Donald Trump presidency’s, the US government has continued the process of deporting illegal immigrants. In the meantime, the number of 1.445 million immigrants from various countries to be deported from the US has been made public.


According to the list released by the US immigration office, 1,365 Nepalis will also be deported from the US.

The largest number of those to be deported from the US are citizens of Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico and El Salvador.


There are 261,651 people from Honduras, 253,413 from Guatemala, 252,044 from Mexico, and 238,222 from El Salvador.
