The six-point agreement was signed by Prem Prasad Bhattarai, Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, on behalf of the government, and Saraswati Singak, representing the negotiation facilitation committee.

According to the agreement, construction work at the cable car station will remain halted and further discussions will be held on February 9. It has also been agreed to provide free and effective medical treatment to the injured, investigate the incident of January 25, and take legal action against those responsible.

Additionally, the agreement includes the immediate release of detained protesters and the postponement of the planned transport shutdown by the protesting side.
